About Me

Hi, I’m JT Gonzalez. I am a student leader from South Texas with a passion for leadership, communication, service, and creating opportunities for others.

Much of my leadership experience began through theatre. Stage management taught me how to communicate with different groups of people, stay organized under pressure, solve problems quickly, and lead a team toward a common goal. As I became more involved in student leadership, I discovered that I was especially interested in bringing people together, developing new ideas, advocating for others, and helping organizations grow.

Today, my experiences extend beyond the stage into statewide student leadership, advocacy, public speaking, communications, community engagement, and event coordination. Each opportunity has helped shape the kind of leader I want to become.

As I prepare for college and my future career, I hope to continue developing my skills in public affairs, communications, business, and leadership. My long-term goal is to use those skills to lead programs and initiatives that strengthen communities and create meaningful opportunities for others.
